A partnership between Aly Brown '15 and Laree Salmon '99 was the glue for the event that engaged two dozen students and raised $220.
He will read his poems on Aug. 19 as part of "Fresh Voices" in the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington.
The KO family will wear bright clothing on May 1 to celebrate the life of the beloved teacher, and the Upper School Choral Fest will be performed in her honor that night.
KO has broken its own record for consecutive wins in Hartford Magazine's popular online readers' poll.
The Form 4 student read "Walking on Eggshells" by B.J. Novak in the 27-year-old Springtime rite of passage for KO English students.
