Welcome

Kingswood Oxford School students hone effective reading, thinking, writing and speaking skills across the curriculum through repeated practice, developing not only their own particular skill set but also their own sense of who they are as a learner – their strengths as well as an awareness of skills that require further practice. Collaboration and creativity are other abilities nurtured throughout the rich and varied curricular and extracurricular offerings our students encounter along their journey here. Preparation for college is a central objective of the Upper School experience as a range of AP courses provides a key and oftentimes ultimate ingredient to a student’s overall experience. The rigor and scope of our class offerings provide the basis for academic success beyond KO and allow opportunities for our students to discover for themselves new interests and previously undernourished strengths.
