Week 2: July 10-14, 2016
Students will explore a variety of styles -- documentary, photojournalism, landscape, and fine art photography -- while learning the technical skills needed to become a skilled photographer. Each student will be provided with a Canon DSLR camera and an iMac equipped with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. No prior photographic or computer experience necessary.
For students entering grades 5-11. Minimum enrollment 6; maximum enrollment 12.
Program runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Instructor: KO Creative Arts teacher Greg Scranton '94 is an interdisciplinary media artist. He is a staff photographer and writer for the music blog, Surviving the Golden Age. He has taught media arts courses at the University of Minnesota and Ursinus College, and he was instrumental in bringing the "Hour of Code" to KO's Middle and Upper Schools in December 2014.
