Mock Trial

Week 3: July 17-21, 2017

Mock Trial is an activity in which students play the role of lawyers and witnesses in a trial that gets argued in front of a judge. In this session, you will learn about the various parts of a trial and will gain experience questioning witnesses, making objections, playing the role of witnesses, and arguing your case in front of the court. In addition, you will undertake a settlement negotiation prior to the trial. The week culminates with the murder trial of Pat E. Hertz.

If your school has a Mock Trial team, this program will help you sharpen your lawyer or witness skills for future competitions.

For students entering Grades 6-9. Minimum enrollment 8; maximum enrollment 12.
Program runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

Please note that the case will be provided to campers approximately two weeks prior to the commencement of the camp with the expectation that campers will have read it before camp starts.

Cost: $495; Early Bird Discount $445 until March 15
