Theater Improv

Week 4: July 24-28, 2017
 

Calling all aspiring young actors! Develop your talents and abilities in this intensive acting camp, which will teach the fundamentals of improvisation and sketch comedy. Through theatre games, improvisation and character work, budding actors will develop self-confidence and self-discipline while exploring self-expression. The week will culminate with a performance to which family and friends are invited.

For students entering grades 5-11; no prior acting experience required.
Minimum enrollment 6; maximum enrollment 20.
Program runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm. 

Cost: $495; Early Bird Discount $445 until March 15

Coach: Vicki Ross has been teaching drama for 25 years at schools including the Children's Acting Studio in Toronto, Avon Public Schools,Solomon Schechter Day School, Renbrook School, and Mandell JCC of Greater Hartford. This is her fourth summer at Camp KO. Trained in improvisation and a veteran of the famed Second City Comedy Troupe in Toronto, Vicki has worked as an actor in film, television and theater. Her specialties are improvisation, children's theater, and sketch comedy.
