Painting & Drawing
Week 5: July 31-August 4, 2017
Whether you are experimenting with art for the first time or seeking to advance your skill as an artist, this camp is for you. Together we will explore the exciting world of color through paint. Students will learn how to mix color with accuracy, and students will also use color as a vehicle for expression. During the week, students will have the opportunity to paint the beautiful campus of Kingswood Oxford, observe the subtle play of light and shadow in a still-life, and dabble in self-portraiture. At the end of the week, each student will present their works in the KO gallery space. The camp is designed for all levels of ability. Supplies are provided, but campers should bring their creative spirits!
For students entering grades 5–11. Minimum enrollment 6; maximum enrollment 12.
Program runs from 8:30am - 4:30pm.
Cost: $495; Early Bird Discount $445 until March 15
