The goal of our soccer week is to meet every single player where they are and challenge them to work harder, faster, and with more precision on the ball—so that they develop and return home to their teams with more ability and passion.
Athletes receive ongoing instruction and frequent feedback from the qualified coaches who are on the field at every session. Athletes have a ball at their feet during a large part of every session and get hundreds, and, sometimes, thousands of touches a day. Coaches focus on fundamentals like ball control, passing, shooting, and first touch; as well as more advanced attacking and defending techniques. Regardless of ability, every player is pushed to the edge of their game so they improve as much as possible.
All of this is accomplished in a positive and fun environment as students experience the excitement, joy, and freedom found in playing soccer. Players should have basic soccer experience, wear appropriate soccer gear each day (t-shirt, shorts, long socks and shin guards), and bring a soccer ball. In the event of rain, campers will play indoors and be introduced to futsal, the native game of Brazil.
