KO defeated St Luke’s in an FAA league contest and brought conference record to 3-0. Scoring was opened up by the third line, 13 mins into the 1st period when Quinn Heal ‘27 ( assisted by Mason Cerkanowicz’28 & Jack Griffin ‘29sniped the upper left Corner of the St Luke’s net only to Carom to the lower left corner for the Storm net. This gave a big boost to the team, leading to more 1st
Period scoring. Moments later Colton Bischoff ‘26 would find the mesh on a feathered pass from Krish Patel ‘26 to bring the Wyvern lead to 2-0. A Wyvern Penalty would lead to the Storm 1st goal moments later on a power play goal and pull to 2-1. 15 secs later, bischoff would reciprocate to patel on the back post of the Storm net and add a short handed goal, a 3-1 lead at the end of the 1st. The 2nd period would not see any scoring but rather a relentless forecheck by the KO Wyvern Dominating possession and eating time off the clock. In the 3rd, Hayden Liddy ‘27 would work the cycle along with Cerkanowicz’28 and captain Dalton Smith ‘ 26 and hit the mesh adding a 4th KO goal. The Wyvern would add an empty netter in the final seconds for the 5-2 final. Shane Smith ‘26 was solid in the net for KO with 33 saves on 35 shots.
