Girls Varsity Lacrosse

The girls varsity lacrosse team got down early to Hopkins, but these Wyverns never give up.

It was a well fought game on both sides. KO came back from a 2 goal deficit to tie the game with 7 minutes left. Though we had our opportunities to take the lead it was the Hilltoppers who found the net with a minute left in the game and managed to hold on for the win. Chayse Shamleffer ’23 was outstanding in the cage from the opening draw keeping the Wyverns in the game with her 12 saves. Alyssa Pavano ’22 played a strong game with 2 goals and a solid effort re-defending the clear. Kaiya Deurloo ’22 added 2 goals and Lindsay Bailey ’22 1 goal to round out the scoring. Ella Wilson ’25, Kami Tarantino ’24 and Abby McLaughlin ’22 gave a fine effort in the midfield, while Olivia Shaller ’25 did a nice job transitioning the ball upfield on our clears.
