Girls Varsity Squash
KO came out strong and fighting against the Kent School Lions, securing another Wyvern victory through their hard work, mental toughness, and intensity.
Cami Berckermeyer ‘19 showed her mental toughness and resilience as she came back from a two game deficit and battled fiercely to fifth game where she won the intense tie-breaker game 11-9. Sydney Smith ‘21 played with fire in her belly, attacking every ball and refusing to let up. After losing the first game, Claudia Petrie ‘19 came back with a vengeance, winning the next three games decisively to secure a 3-1 win for KO. Holly Lombardi ‘18 and IzzyBerckermeyer ‘21 both did a great job showcasing all of the hard work they’ve put in throughout the season, establishing their depth with good straight rails to the back, trapping their opponents in the back and forcing an opening to attack and take the ball in short.
