While the score, in the end, was not in our favor, the team played hard and matched them point for point in every quarter except the first. The team played together, scrambled for every ball and made some excellent rebounds. Our game in the paint has improved immensely, leading to some beautiful lay-ups. Each player added to either the score or to some excellent defensive plays, and each improved their game. Jillian Alexander, Ava Cashman, and Hana Haxhaj played tough on the bounds and in the paint. Margaret Miller, Macey Kotowitz, and Kelly Stepnowski drove to the basket and energized our offense. Madison Bromberg led the team with heart in the first half of the game before she injured herself scrambling for a loose ball. Sophia Radmonovich and Ava Leshem defended excellently against more experienced players leading to some key turnovers. All in all, I am so proud of this team for their growth in both skill and knowledge of the game. I look forward to our next game and leading this team to a win!
