Keifer Jaffe ‘21 opened the scoring for KO early in the 1st period, beating the South Kent Goalie stick side on a pass from Garth Swanson ‘19. KO would go on to score again moments later when Garth Swanson ‘19 would field Karstian Lang ‘20 in front to go up 2-0. KO would score 2 more goals in the 1st period from Michael Autorino ‘19 and Kyle Frankel ‘21, both assisted by Karstian Lang ‘20, to give KO a 4-0 lead at the end of the 1st period. South Kent would get on the board quickly in the 2nd period, however KO would go on to score 4 unanswered goals in the period by Mitchell Autorino ‘21, Sean Gilland ‘22 , Karstian Lang ‘20 & Garth Swanson ‘19.
