KO started the scoring :28 seconds into the game on a goal from Garth Swanson ‘19, assisted by Kyle Frankel ‘20 and Mike Autorino ‘’19.  though Hamden would come back later in the 1st period  to add 2 goals to give them a lead at the first break.  Mid-way through the 2nd period, KO broke through again on a Colin Regan ‘18 goal, assisted by Cam Jandreau‘20 (Watkinson) and Shane Dawson ‘20 to tie the score at 2. Hamden Hall would answer less than a minute later to go up again 3-2.  
In the 3rd period,  KO battled and was winning possession of  the puck. The Hard work paid off 5 minutes into the period when Karsten Lang ‘20  found himself on the Hamden Hall crease battling for the puck  and found the back of the net on a dirty goal to tie the game 3-3.  Lang was assisted by Cohl D’Addabbo ‘21 who had the initial shot to the net.   Later in the 3rd, Will Elliott ‘21 scored on at shot from the left side on a feed from Kyle Frankel ‘20 to put KO Up 4 -3.  Hamden Hall pressed hard over the last 5 minutes of the game but incurred penalties that hurt their effort.  Cohl D’Addabbo‘21 finished it out the game with the empty  netter with :22 seconds left to play.  KO Outshot Hamden Hall 39-35, John McLaughlin ‘20  had 32 saves in the game for KO.
