Coming off of a good Winter Holiday training period, the team was excited to compete. The 200 Medlet Relay of Ben Zamstein '20, Jamie Amell '20, Ellis Winfree '19, and Zeno Chen '22 took first place in 1:52.24 while the group of Eden Nenshati '21, Tom Betts '19, Felix Fei '21, and Marwynn Somridhivej '20 grabbed a key second place. In the 200 Freestyle, Nick Traver placed second in 1:59.32 and Walter Kraus '21 took fourth in 2:08. 52. Jamie Amell '20 took first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:15.67, Marwynn Somridhivej '21 placed third in 2:23.04 and Tom Betts '19 took fourth in 2:23.65. The Wyverns' good swimming in these early events provided the spark for the day.
In the 50 Free, Ellis Winfree took second in 23.15 and Zeno Chen '22 placed fourth in 25.21. In the diving Eli Brandt '23 placed first with a score of 190.55 and Kevin Graziosi '23 took second with a score of 103.40. Ellis Winfree took first in the 100 Butterfly in 1:00.56 while Felix Fei '21 took third in 1:05.11. In the 100 Free, Nick Traver placed first with a time of 54.11 and Zeno Chen grabbed a key second place with a time of 57.85. The 500 Free saw Ben Zamstein take third place in 5:36.63 while Walter Kraus placed fourth in 5:53.62. The 200 Free Relay of Marrich Somridhivej '22, Walter Kraus '21, Zeno Chen '22, and Nick Traver '20 took second place in 1:40.36.
The 100 Backstroke included Ben Zamstein '20 taking second in 1:07.73 and Marwynn Somridhivej placing fourth in 1:09.88. Jamie Amell took second in the 100 Breast in a season's best time of 1:05.82 while Tom Betts placed fourth in 1:12.36. The 400 Freestyle relay of Nick Traver '20, Ben Zamstein '20, Jamie Amell '20, and Ellis Winfree placed second (3:46.88) followed closely by the quarter of Marwynn Somridhivej '20, Walter Kraus '21, Marrich Somridhivej '22, and Felix Fei '21 taking third (3:48.74). The Wyverns edged Northfield Mount Hermon 95 to 85 to post their second dual meet win of the season.
