KO got out to an early lead, and held tough to make sure that Wilbraham did not fight its way back. After leading 19-4 at halftime, the Wyverns took the foot off the gas pedal and focused on playing good team basketball. Jordan DiMauro ’23 led the team in scoring with 8 points, followed by Kyra Dunnirvine’23 (7) and Hallie Braunstein ’23 (4). KO also rebounded well, especially Alex Arnold ’23 who was great in starting our fast-break offense. Another key to the win was KO’s tenacious defense, which made it difficult for Wilbraham to get many shots off. Up until the final buzzer, everyone on the team worked well together and helped each other do their best. With three wins to start the year, KO looks to keep the momentum going next Wednesday against the Foote School.
