MS Girls A Basketball

Win 28-12
This game encapsulated what makes this team great, playing tough defense, scoring on fast breaks, and fighting for every loose ball. Coming off a tough loss to Foote last week, KO showed its game face against Renbrook, getting out to an early lead and making it difficult for Renbrook to get many shots off. Jordan DiMauro ’23 led the Wyverns with 18 points, many of which were scored on fast break layups. Emily Knowles ’25 followed with 8 points and hit some beautiful outside shots. To complement her aggressive defense, Kyra Dunnirvine’23 also got on the board with 2 points. Though she didn’t score, Georgia Louis ’24 also made a big impact by forcing many turnovers and starting fast breaks. Everyone contributed in some way to the win, and there are a lot of positives to build on for the future. KO hopes for a similar fate in its next game against Hamden Hall.
