Tomas Kopecky employs inquiry-based learning and student-centered activities to promote student understanding and a love of learning. With an extensive background in teaching chemistry, physics, and environmental science, he served as the Science Department Chair at both Chase Collegiate and The Knox School prior to his joining KO. He also served as Director of Summer Programs at Chase for ten years. In addition to being a thoughtful colleague who values reflection and collaboration, he has an extensive background in coaching tennis.
