Kingswood Oxford tennis is home to four state-of-the-art indoor tennis courts and three outdoor courts throughout the year. The girls’ tennis program promotes a culture of excellence, athleticism, and sportsmanship. Players improve their strokes through conditioning, on-court drills, and interscholastic matches and develop a greater repertoire of shots throughout the season. The team competes alongside some of the strongest prep school programs in New England and in the Founders League. The regular season competition has always prepared the team for NEPSAC Class B postseason play. Wyvern girls’ tennis has been featured in the annual postseason tournament since 2013. During that span, the team has finished as finalists three times (2013, 2015, 2017) and champions twice (2014, 2016).
All Kingswood Oxford athletes have access to our 33-acre campus, with multiple playing fields, an artificial turf field, a multi-purpose fieldhouse, a yoga studio, and two fitness centers. Certified athletic trainers are on hand every day to ensure the health, well-being, and development of every student-athlete. Every team also reflects the school’s core values, demonstrating honesty, integrity, and respect, learning with passion, and caring beyond self.
