KO Students Perform in West Hartford Symphony Orchestra
Five KO musicians, who are members of the West Hartford Orchestra, will be performing in the final concert of the orchestra’s 2017-2018 season on Saturday, May 19.
The students are Jon Fu '19, Prithvi Gunturu '18 (not pictured), Rohan Naik '20, Marwynn Somridhivej '20 and Adam Theodorou '21.
The Armed Forces Day Pops Concert will take place in West Hartford Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. Performances will include beloved favorites like “White Cliffs of Dover,” “The Man that Got Away,” “S’Wonderful”, “Sing, Sing, Sing” and a medley from West Side Story among other crowd favorites.
The WHSO is a nonprofit organization composed of volunteer musicians, ranging from ages 14 to 88, talented amateur and professional musicians alike. KO’s Richard Chiarappa conducts the orchestra. The WHSO provides talented KO students to perform at a high level.
