Summer Camp

Please register your child for camp using our easy online system. Only the programs in your child’s grade range (Fall 2026) will appear when registering. Be sure to click “add to cart” when choosing your child’s week(s) and their program(s). Please complete all forms on the portal at the time of registration. Call the Camp Director at 860-727-5032 if you have any questions. 

Campers choose one full-day program or in some cases, two half-day programs per week. You can sign up for one or more weeks. Below is a general schedule for the daily activities.

Before-care is from 7:30-8:30 a.m., and aftercare is from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Please drop off at and pick up your child from the Hoffman Field House. Do not leave a child unattended in the morning before 7:30 a.m. A late fee of $5 will be assessed for every 10 minutes after the scheduled 5:30 p.m. pick-up time. Please allow for traffic delay time during the rush hour.

All children must have a school health assessment form or a Camp KO Youth Camp Health Form submitted before attending camp and must be signed by the parent and the child’s doctor. We can accept forms with an exam date that is less than 3 years old. This form can be uploaded to the registration portal or emailed to [email protected]. Please send each form as a PDF, TIFF, or PNG in one document rather than separate.

If your child participated in camp in 2025, we will likely have their health form on file. You will be notified by email once you have registered for 2026 if you need to submit a more current form. 
Please resubmit their school health assessment form if any health conditions have changed in the past year.

Please complete in full the online health form during registration. This form does not replace the mandatory school health assessment form or youth camper form submitted each summer. This form is used by staff only to make us aware of any conditions related to your child’s experience at camp.

Medication Authorization Form

Any child that needs medication administered during camp hours or requires a medical delivery device (inhaler, epi-pen, glucagon injectors, medication taken at camp), must have this form completed and signed by the parent and child’s doctor. The form must be dated after Aug. 7, 2025.  

On the first day of camp, both the form and the device (in its original packaging with a prescription label) should be in the child’s backpack. Each coach or teacher will have a list of campers with medication authorization information and the accompanying medical plan.

If a child requires medication, an inhaler, EPI-PEN, or another medical delivery device, the medication authorization form must be submitted before camp and signed by the parent and the child’s doctor. Upon arrival at camp, the medication or device must be in a zippered plastic bag in the original packaging with the prescription label present. Depending on the medical authorization form, either our registered nurse will hold on to it or the child may be authorized to keep it in their backpack. This form can be uploaded to the registration portal or emailed. Please upload the form as a single document and not separate pages.

We have two options for lunch.

There is a catered lunch service for campers consisting of a featured hot food item, a vegetarian option, dessert, and water. The menu is on a three-week rotation so there are many delicious and nutritious options each week. Camp KO Sample Lunch Menu 2026. The fee for lunch per week is $60 and all meals will be nut and shellfish free. 

Please note that we are unable to accommodate individual dietary restrictions. Campers with special dietary needs should plan to bring their own lunch.

Campers are always welcome to bring their lunches in an insulated lunch bag that will be placed in a refrigerator. At lunchtime, the lunch bags will be placed on tables by the program group so the child can easily find their lunch. 

Children must bring a refillable water bottle and non-perishable snacks each day in a backpack or drawstring bag that they will keep on them. There will be water stations on each field and in our buildings where campers can refill their water bottles and there will be break times for them to eat their snacks before and after lunch.

Campers are expected to wear appropriate attire for their particular sport, and for those in art and academic programs, please wear comfortable, light clothing (shorts and t-shirts) that they can move around in. All campers participate in a morning fitness class and an afternoon deep stretch class and should be wearing sneakers. Sandals, crocs and open-toed shoes are not permitted. 

For outdoor programs, please apply sunscreen before camp and bring sunscreen to reapply later in the day (campers will be reminded to use sunscreen but will be expected to apply it themselves). For sports programs, an extra pair of socks and an extra shirt each day in a backpack can come in very handy on a hot day.

Tennis – Your child should bring their racquet each day. Lightweight comfortable clothing and tennis shoes are recommended. We do have a couple of spare racquets but cannot guarantee one for every camper. If your child needs to borrow a racquet, please email the director two weeks in advance.

Squash – Your child should bring their racquet and eye goggles each day. Lightweight comfortable clothing and tennis shoes are recommended. We do have a couple of spare racquets but cannot guarantee one for every camper. If your child needs to borrow a racquet, please email the director two weeks in advance. Also, they need to wear sneakers that do not have black soles or make any marks on the courts.

Soccer – Every day your child should have outdoor soccer cleats, shin pads, and a soccer ball with their name marked with a permanent marker. They must also bring an extra pair of sneakers in case we need to go indoors to play. Players are expected to keep track of their soccer ball each day.

Flag Football –  No extra equipment is necessary. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers. No cleats are necessary.

Boys’ Lacrosse – Your child should bring with them each day their stick, gloves, helmet. They should be wearing shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers.

Girls’ Lacrosse – Your child should bring their stick, eye goggles, and mouthguard. If possible, please bring a pinnie. They should be wearing shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers.

Field Hockey – Your child should bring a stick, mouth guard, and eye goggles. If possible, please bring a pinnie. They should be wearing shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers.

Baseball – Your child must bring a baseball cap, helmet, bat, glove, and batting gloves (optional). Your child should also wear proper baseball cleats and bring a pair of regular sneakers in case we need to go indoors.

Volleyball – Your child should wear shorts and lightweight T-shirts or tank tops. Knee pads are required.

Ultimate Frisbee –  No extra equipment is necessary. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers. No cleats are necessary.

Speed & Agility –  No extra equipment is necessary. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers.

Fencing –  No extra equipment is necessary. Shorts, t-shirts, sneakers.

Hiking, Outdoor Adventure & Fly Fishing –  Wear broken-in hiking boots or sturdy sneakers, shorts, t-shirts or lightweight long pants and hats.

Camp KO will be held regardless of the weather. Schedules will be modified so that everyone is safe indoors until we can return to outdoor play. In the event of heavy rain in the morning or thunderstorms in the afternoon, please check your email to see if any changes have been made to the drop-off or pick-up area for your child.

The health and safety of our campers and staff are our top priority. We follow all protocols set forth by the Department of Health and the OEC’s Youth Camp Guidelines.  

A registered nurse will be on campus at all times to handle any injuries or illness and will collaborate with the camp’s medical director should additional care be needed. Parents are expected to pre-screen their child for any symptoms that are COVID-19 related and campers may not attend if they are under any type of quarantine. There are no refunds for children who are under quarantine or are sick and cannot attend camp. We will try to offer a make-up day in another session if space is available.

If a camper shows signs of illness during camp, they will be placed in an isolated room away from all other campers until the parent can come for pick up. The nurse will stay with that child until the parent arrives.

Program pricing varies depending on whether your child is enrolled in a half-day or full-day option. Programs with limited capacity are priced slightly higher than those with larger enrollment. Please refer to the chart above for specific program pricing details.

To receive the best rates of the season, register during our Early Bird period: January 9 – March 31, 2026.
All discounts must be applied before full payment is due on May 31, 2026.

A non-refundable deposit of $50 per week is required at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due by May 31, 2026.

• If you cancel on or before May 31, the $50 deposit will be forfeited and the remaining balance will be removed from your account.

• No refunds are issued after May 31, including but not limited to schedule changes, illness, injury, or other personal circumstances.

Families may choose to transfer their child to a different week within the same summer, subject to availability. Any fees already paid will be applied to the new week.
