Camp Director Sheri Shea 

 

 

Hello!
I’m Sheri Slobin Shea, founder and director of Camp KO. With more than 40 years of experience in youth program development, I’m proud to be entering Camp KO’s 15th season in 2027 and to continue building a community centered on sports, arts, academics, creativity, and connection.

Whether your child joins us for summer camp or a school-year program, our goal is to provide outstanding instruction, caring mentorship, and meaningful opportunities to build confidence, friendships, and a strong sense of belonging. I’m always happy to answer questions and look forward to welcoming your family to Camp KO.

Asst. Camp Director Joe Sobowicz

 

Hi everyone!    

                                                               

I am Camp KO assistant director Joe Sobowicz. For the past ten years, I have been teaching physical education and health while coaching numerous high school sports. During the summer, I ran my own junior golf program out of Tunxis Country Club, as well as trained a lot of high school athletes in the area. I am now at Kingswood Oxford coaching and helping with athletics, and Camp KO full time. I am looking forward to making Camp KO the best experience in the area, and building great relationships with all of the kids and families!
