Kingswood Oxford delivered a commanding 20–7 victory on Wednesday, fueled by a fast start and an explosive seventh inning.
Cole Gallagher got things rolling in the first with an RBI single, helping the team jump to an early lead. Gallagher finished the day with three hits. The Wyverns poured on nine runs in the seventh inning, highlighted by a triple from Kai Scranton, an RBI double from Ashton Binalla, and a two-RBI single from Carl Parkhouse. Scranton also led the team with three stolen bases. Offensively, the Wyverns racked up 16 hits. Binalla and Gallagher led with three hits each, while Parkhouse added three RBIs and drew two walks. Joe Small, Cam Rios, and Aaron Anstead each had a hit. Logan Lacroix and Daksh Suryadevara also contributed RBIs early in the game.
On the mound, Parkhouse was lights out in his two-inning start, striking out six and allowing no runs. Dylan Albert closed strong with a perfect inning and three strikeouts.
It was a complete team effort, with sharp pitching, smart base-running, and timely hitting driving the Wyverns to victory.
