This was a more closely contested game than the score suggests.

Heading into the fifth inning, the score was 4-2, but a blast over the right fielder’s head by Jaedan Curcio energized the team as the KO bats swung into action en route to a 11-5 victory. Tommy Caporaso and Matt DeFilippo made several spectacular infield plays to support Owen Bernier who was superb on the mound over 5 innings of play. Rajan Patel’s relief pitching slammed the door shut on Taft’s attempt at a comeback. Heading into a rival game against Avon Old Farms at home, KO is riding a four game win streak. Come support them!
