Baseball – Boys MS A vs Hopkins School – Away

MS A Baseball

The KO MS A Baseball team beat Hopkins 8-2.

This was a great all-around game highlighted by strong pitching, solid defense, and powerful offense. Rayyan Haider ’24 started the game, throwing three innings and only walking one. This pitching performance kept KO in the game, as the game was tied 2-2 after three innings. The Wyverns then scored in each of following innings, including a 3-run 5th. In that inning, Brady Nichols ’23 and Devin Wolff ’23 each hit RBI doubles. Preston Seaver ’23 also hit a double in the 6th inning, driving in two more runs and putting the game out of reach. Mac Louis ’23 made sure Hopkins could not come back, closing out the game on the mound with three efficient innings, in which he struck out five. This was a truly great win for KO, as the team improves to 2-1. The Wyverns hope to add a third win next Wednesday against Foote.
