In the second game KO scored a run in the first, Mark Place ’18 doubled with 2 outs and Tim Cotter ’20 singled him home. T-P loaded the bases on walks in the third and hit a grand slam for thier first hit of the game to go ahead 4-1. The Wyverns scored 3 runs in trhe fifth, Noah Gibson ’18 doubled in 2 runs. Trailing 6-4 in the sixth KO tied the score when Sam Smith ’21 singled, Jimmy DiVirgilio ’18 singled, Place had an RBI single, and Cotter had a sac fly. T-P scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th inning to take a 10-6 lead. KO battled back in the bottom half of the 7th. Gibson was hit by a pitch, Mason Bowers ’18 singled and Jack Marshall ’20 doubled in 2 runs, but that’s all the Wyverns could get and the game ended 10-8.
