KO played Hopkins and won 58-48 on the road after overcoming a 10 point second half deficit.
KO led 27-26 at the half. Hopkins came out in the second half and built at 10 point lead with 12 minutes to play in the game leading 37 to 27. Nevertheless, KO outscored Hopkins by 20 points in final 12 minutes to secure the victory. KO finished the game 6 for 6 from the free throw line. It was a great character win for the Wyverns! Nate Capodice ’21, and John Doar 20’ led thescoring with 22 and 21 points. Jayden Lovelace ’20 chipped in with 9 points. Jacob Schwartz ’21,
Jayden Lovelace 20’, Chris Sienko 21’ and Jack Risley 20’ led the rebounding with 6 and 4 a piece respectively.
JackRisley 20’ , Nate Capodice ’21, John Doar 20’, Chris Sienko ’21 and Jaden Lovelace ’21 did an outstanding job handling the Hopkins pressure and protecting the basketball.
