KO was down 16-0 to begin the game, however, they battled back to a one point deficit at halftime down 25-24. The second half went back and forth with KO and Taft trading leads numerous times. Nate Capodice hit a big three pointer to get KO to overtime. In overtime Sam Capodice hit two free throws to tie game and get KO into second overtime. In second overtime, Jeff Davis had a lay-up and John Doar hit two free throws down the stretch to secure the victory for KO. Sam Capodice ’20 led the scoring with 17 points followed by John Doar ‘20 Jacob Schwartz ’21, Nate Capodice ’21 and Jeff Davis ’21 with 11, 10, and 9 respectively. Wes Pierce ’20 had numerous rebounds and Jack Risley ’20 did an outstanding job running the offense. Jack Kinney 21’ and Christian Pedro ’22 contributed off the bench to the win.
