With only 8 of our 15 players in attendance, the outcome of this game looked uncertain at the start. Things continued to look down as the Eagles took an early lead of 15 – 2 four minutes into the game. However, just as the KO fans may have begun doubting a possible victory, the Wyverns bounced back, trailing by just two points at the half. The Wyverns fought hard to gain the lead in the second half, and once they did they never backed down. Taking advantage of their speed and effective defensive press to hold off the Eagles, the Wyverns pulled together as a single unit. Every player on the team had at least one rebound or steal, most of which were made by Form 2 players Cole Banning and Alex Levin, who contributed 25 points and 8 points to the scoreboard, respectively. The Wyverns will travel to Renbrook School this Thursday at 4:30.
