The JV Girls Basketball team suffers a hard fought loss to the Pelicans

KO was never truly in this game after falling behind 11-1 in the first minutes of the game.  Behind 21-9 at halftime, the Wyverns worked hard for turnovers through defensive pressure and cut Loomis’ lead to as few as 5 points at one time.  However, Loomis came back to score two unanswered baskets and that was the game.  Cici Chagnon, ’21, Lian Wolman, ’19 and Brie Toedt, ’21 were defensive standouts for the Wyverns.  Emma Henry, ’21 was leading scorer for the Wyverns with 11 points.
