JV Girls Basketball

The team overcame a rough first half to defeat Northfield Mount Hermon in a historically tough matchup.

Although the Wyverns limited NMH to just 12 first half points, they only managed to score 8 themselves in the first frame.  That changed dramatically in the second half as KO poured in 34 points spread out among eight different players.  Key contributions on defense came from a host of players, including Lian Wolman, ’19, Juanita Asapohkai, ’20, and Keegan McMahon, ’21.  The offense was led by Cici Chagnon, ’21 with 9 points, Caroline Dawson, ’22 (who scored a key three point shot down the stretch) with 7 points, and Emma Henry, ’21 with team high 11 points.  The team’s next game is Saturday, January 12 at Hopkins.
