The Wyverns traveled to Burlington to take on the Huskies of Har-Bur Middle School. The chill from outside made it’s way to the court as the Wyverns struggled to get the ball in the basket through the first half, trailing 12-8 going into the break. The Wyverns turned it around in the second half with tough defense, forcing several turnovers and executing on offense at their highest levels of the season, holding Har-Bur to 6 second half points.

The Wyverns came away with a hard fought 31-18 win on the road. The team was led by double figure scorers Cora Dunbar and Naomi Diffenderfer, as well as Lucy Parson’s who anchored the team’s defense, blocking several shots, hitting double digits in rebounds and playing extremely good help defense!

It was a great team win!
