Girls MS A Basketball

The girls MS A basketball team traveled to Hopkins on Wednesday 12/13 for their opening game of the season and came away with a 26-17 win.

All 11 players made contributions to the game whether it was getting a rebound, making a great outlet pass, scoring a basket, blocking a shot, getting an assist or making a steal. KO had a balanced offense as six of the girls scored. Natalia Correa ‘22 lead all scorers with 8 points mostly on breakaway layups. Jordan DiMauro ‘23, Lindsay Bailey ‘22 and Quinn Kearney ‘23 all contributed 4 points along with impressive defense from all three with Jordan tying up the ball numerous times, Quinn grabbing defensive rebounds and Lindsay blocking shots. Kyra Dunnervine ‘23 and Caroline Dawson ‘22 also contributed to the scoring with 3 points each along with some defensive steals. The girls next game will be in the new year on the road at Rectory on 1/6/18.
