The MS Girls’ A Basketball team lost to Rectory on Jan. 6.

The MS Girls’ A Basketball team lost to Rectory on Jan. 6 43-25 despite giving their very best effort Considering the girls had not practiced since December 14 they did a nice job holding their own against some very talented players from Rectory. Jordan DiMauro ‘23 played scrappy defense tying up the ball multiple times and taking on the strongest player from Rectory with no hesitation. Alex Arnold ‘23 did a nice job rebounding on both ends of the court and scored her first basket of the season. Natalia Correa ‘22 and Lindsay Bailey ‘22 lead the KO offense with 8 and 7 points, respectively. Kyra Dunnirvine ‘23 drove aggressively to the basket drawing multiple fouls and ended up four of eight from the line. Quinn Kearney ‘23 and Caroline Dawson ‘22 rounded out the scoring with two points each.
