Basketball – Girls MS A vs Rumsey Hall School – Away

MS A Girls Basketball

The KO MS A basketball team lost a close game to Rumsey Hall 25-23.

With only 6 points at halftime, the Wyverns made a thrilling comeback towards the end, outscoring Rumsey 17-7 in the second half. Most shots just didn’t fall today, as the team struggled to get on a scoring run for most of the game. But once KO started pressing in the second half, turnovers allowed them to make it close in the final minute. Even though they came up just short, the team finished strong and made Rumsey fight to win. Once again, Georgia Louis ’24 led KO in points, scoring 13. Jillian Alexander ’24 and Lia Arnold ’25  scored 4 points each, with Lia also grabbing 10 rebounds. This is KO’s first loss of the season, but it came with many lessons, and it taught the team that good things can happen when they play to the end. Their hustle and determination meant that they could leave being proud of their effort. KO has a quick turnaround, as they play Wilbraham & Monson at home on Saturday.
