MS B Girls Basketball

The Kingswood Oxford Girls B team found their groove today and played an incredible first game together.

Practice over the last couple of weeks served them well as they played a solid zone defense and did an excellent job rebounding the ball.  With the help of Margaret Kinney and Jillian Alexander from the A team, the girls moved the ball well on offense and everyone was confident enough to shoot.  Both Margarets and Ava Leshem led the team at the point, while Hana Haxhaj, Jenna Kanaan, and Meredith Decker dominating the boards.  Our team worked together and was a force to be reckoned with.  Sofia Garza was the team’s leading scorer with 9 points, Margaret Miller and Jillian Alexander following close behind with 6 points.  I am proud of the team and their growth and I look forward to the rest of the season.
