The girls varsity basketball team took on Miss Porter’s in their first home game since coming back from winter break. Unfortunately Porter’s went home with the win 64-53. Our players gave their all in the second half but just couldn’t overcome the 11 point deficit coming out of the first half. The final score shows that our girls played even with Porter’s in the second half and that was due to a defensive adjustment, stronger rebounding and team play on the offensive end. Ten of our players had time on the court and eight of those ten scored. Our scoring was balanced with six players contributing between five and eleven points.
