During the first half, it was back and forth and at halftime the Wyverns were only up by three points. Coming out into the third quarter, the team put on the pressure with their 1-3-1 defense which caused many turnovers and opened up shots for KO, little by little they started to build a lead and captured the win. The intensity from the defensive end and the heart that all the KO player showed helped them win this game. Angelina Maselli ’20, Emily Knowles ’25 and Kameryn Perry ‘23 led the way offensively with 15 points, nine points and eight points. Other KO players who contributed six points were Jordan Dimauro ’23, Lindsay Bailey ’22 and Molly Jones ’20. Also, Natalia Correa ’22 had three points respectfully. The KO Wyverns are looking to continue their winning streak with their next game on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at home against Millbrook School at 3pm.
