Varsity Girls Basketball

The girls’ basketball team played their hearts out against Westminster on Friday night!

KO was down by 10 points going into the second half but that did not stop the Lady Wyverns, they came out determined and ready to play. Tough defense was led by Madi Henry ’19, Charlotte Cyr ’19 and Megan Murphy ’22 who caused many turnovers with their full court pressure and trapping. Also, Angelina Maselli ’20 and Jane Dunbar ’19 were offensive threats with contributing 12 points and 6 points which helped bring KO back into the game. Natalia Correa ’22 hit an important 3 pointer, which brought KO within only one point with three minutes left of the game. The girls continued to work hard and fight for every loose ball till the final buzzard. The next game will be away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Miss Porter’s School at 4:30pm.
