Cross Country – Girls Varsity vs Westminster School – Away

Girls Cross Country

Girls Cross Country competed in the Miller Invitational and came in 9th place. 

The Girls’ Cross Country team competed in the 13th Annual Richard Miller Cross-Country Invitational at Westminster School on Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful day to compete! The first mile of the 5K course was a campus loop around open fields. The course then included narrow paths in the woods and a difficult hill to conquer in the second mile. The race finished with an uphill climb to the upper fields and a race to the finish around Westminster’s track. Top 10 female runners in each division (Varsity and JV) received a certificate and the top three schools were announced. All athletes warmed up for the event and participated in the course walk, but only six of our KO athletes raced in the Invitational. Two athletes were unable to participate due to illness and three were resting injuries
