JV Field Hockey
KO JV field hockey played tirelessly and with a lot of heart Wednesday afternoon against Choate.
KO JV field hockey played tirelessly and with a lot of heart Wednesday afternoon against Choate. Amelia Boardman ‘20 and Snehaa Ram ‘21 played solid defense and kept the ball our side for the majority of the game. Caroline Boardman ‘22 courageously stepped up and played goalie Wednesday afternoon for the first time. Caroline did a great job, acquiring several saves and allowing no goals. Anusha Memon ‘20 and Shreeya Chalikonda ‘21 weaved through several tough defenders several times. Unfortunately, we could not get any balls into the back of the cage. Most of the team played the whole 60 minutes with no substitutions, but that did not stop these girls from keeping Choate on their toes and stopping the opposing team from scoring. The team plans on bringing the same effort and energy next Saturday, when they play against Suffield Academy.
