JV Field Hockey

KO JV Field Hockey hit the ground running with enthusiasm and urgency for their first game of the season! The team left it all on the field Wednesday and put a lot of pressure on the Loomis offense. Caroline Boardman ‘22 kept the Loomis defense on their toes as she ran up and down the field. Hannah Shames ‘20 and Gabrielle Abramson ‘22 played great defense, helping keep the ball on our side of the field for the majority of the game. Charlotte Mandell ‘22 had several saves as goalie and a few diving plays to keep the ball out of the net. Mia Brown ‘22 played her heart out as she weaved through defenders with a few fast breaks. Unfortunately, we could not get any shots into the back of the cage. Overall, the team played a solid defensive game allowing only 1 goal and set a positive tone for the rest of the season.
