MS Field Hockey

KO took the road against Hamden Hall. This was a test as the away game was on a grass field which was the middle school’s first game on that surface.

Settling down to the much slower pace, KO took advantage and got on the board early when Hadley Crowther ‘25 scored an unassisted goal. The second goal came towards the end of the first half when Olivia Gordon ‘24 found a rebound and had a quick shot on goal. The second half brought KO several amazing opportunities but we could not get the ball to the back of the net until late in the second half when Crowther ‘25 tallied the final goal. Jenna Kanaan ‘25, Emma Korn ‘25, Supriya Chatterjee ‘25 and Meredith Decker’25 all had great plays at midfield. Ysabel Albert ‘25 and Eleanor Farquhar’26 has some great offensive plays in the circle, while Lia Arnold ‘25 and Olivia Gordon ‘24 both showcased their air dribble talent offensively. Meghan Jo ‘25 had the shutout in goal. The game ended at 3-0 in favor of the Wyverns. The team is 7-0 and plays at Renbrook this weekend.
