It our Senior Day a beautiful November afternoon honoring our four incredible seniors. Emma Barringer, Ashley Buckingham, Hana Haxhaj and Avery Hersh. KOFH faced off against a very strong team, GFA, who had impressive stick sticks and speed. KOFH held our ground though, putting our heart and soul and the field to contend with a talent team. Ella Wilson ‘25 and Emma Barringer ‘24 had some great momentum towards our zone however much of the play ended up in our defensive zone, Avery Hersh ‘24 led our defense and stayed strong never giving up even after GFA took the led. Stella Zimmer ‘25 in goal had a remarkable 14 saves, truly stepping up to stop any shot she could. Ashley Buckingham ‘24 put her heart and hustle on the field and was anywhere and everywhere leading the team. In the fourth quarter KOFH ourselves with a corner opportunity, Ashley capitalized on that opportunity and scored her first goal of the season giving KOFH the momentum to end the game strong. We are so proud of our seniors and thank them for all they have given to this program, we will miss them greatly next year! We will head to Suffield on Monday for an under the lights game and carry this momentum with us hungry for a victory! Go Wyverns!
