The Wyverns held onto the lead until the fourth quarter. Walker scored two quick goals back to back, defeating the Wyverns 2-1. Even though we couldn’t capitalize on scoring opportunities, Alyssa Pavano earned the “game ball” and had some great breakaways into the attacking circle. Some unlucky calls didn’t work in our favor, but the team kept their heads high and continued to play hard.
