Field Hockey – Girls Varsity vs School of the Holy Child – Away

Varsity Field Hockey

KO Field Hockey Fall 1-0.

Goalie Caitlin Budzik had a great game, making 15 saves. She has been working hard during the summer and at practice. Her efforts have paid off and her improvement has been amazing. She is a true asset to the team. KO played a hard game without Captain Mia Seymour but just couldn’t get a goal. Arie Lang (2022) played intense and never gave up the entire game. She brings great skill and is a great fit to our team. Tori Swanson (2021) was another standout. Tori’s ability to keep pushing even when she is tired is a talent that few have. Her speed on penalty corners is key when getting the ball out of the circle, Tori does it every time with finesse. Other standouts were Keegan McMahon ( 2021) and Camy Forslund (2021) who played their hearts out on defense and never stopped fighting. Cici Chagnon(2021) played a great game and had great shots on goal but they just wouldn’t go in. Also Madeline Pelletier (2020) played left wing, she was intense and knew where she needed to be every time.  KOFH will continue to fight and never give up. The season has just started and we are just getting warmed up.
