Football – Boys JV vs Canterbury School – Away
JV Football
On Monday September 29th our JV Football team traveled to New Milford, CT to take on the Canterbury School. The Wyverns were strong all day, leading the contest from start to finish. The scoring began in electric fashion when Landon Thomas ’28, hit Carson Patrei ’29 in the endzone off a double reverse pass. The defense was dominant, not allowing a single rushing yard, and 0 points given up. Led by Connor Malinoski ’27, who had 3 TFL and 2 Sacks and 1 FR on the day. The defensive line was especially strong. Offense was highlighted by great running by Ryan Browning ’29 and excellent catches by Carson Patrei ’29. The Wyverns were able to score two more times one on the ground with Browning ’29 and one in the air with Patrei ’29 to close to scoring at 22-0. The JV team will look to continue their winning ways next Wednesday October 8th vs Brunswick 4:00 pm Kickoff.
