JV Football

The JV Football team defeated St. Luke’s School 30-0 on Oct. 9.

Ben Woerlen ’22 caught a touchdown pass to start the game and Jaden Lovelace ’20 caught an 80-yard touchdown pass to close out the first half 22-0. The offensive line, made up of Ben Safalow ’22, Kyle Frankel ’21, Eden Nenshati ’21, Adam Paszczuk ’21, and Connor Caneday ’21, had one of the best collective games by a KO offensive line unit in recent memory. The boys blocked incredibly well all game, not allowing any quarterback sacks and driving the run game all afternoon. Connor Bernier ’22, Sam Krugman ’22, and Lovelace each had an interception that stopped key Red Storm drives. Pat Schwab ’22, Evan Bygraves ’21, Nenshati, and Bernier led the defensive efforts in the tackling department, making multiple plays in the backfield and holding St. Luke’s to long third-down plays all game. The next JV game is Wednesday 10/17 at home against Deerfield Academy.
