Football – Boys JV vs Taft School – Home

JV Football

On Wednesday October 15th our JV Football team hosted the Taft School on yet another  perfect fall afternoon. Much like most of the JV season the Wyverns dominated from start to finish. Scoring at will, the young Wyverns built a 30-0 lead at halftime. Explosive play after explosive play, Brady Powell ’28 was phenomenal leading the charge. He threw for 5 TDs and 281 yards including 65, 45, 42, and 28 yard plays! Landon Thomas ’28 was equally excellent scoring 3 TDS on the game and responsible for multiple big offensive plays! Defensively the team was strong, only allowing 50 yards on the day and 11 passing yards. Cade Oneglia ’28 had a phenomenal interception and the linebacker play of Joe Small ’27 and Jace Brett ’28 was excellent in diagnosing runs and tackling the ball carrier. The Wyverns now 3-0 on the season will look to continue their winning ways when they play Berkshire School on October 29th 2:30 pm Kickoff
