The JV Football team defeated Williston Northampton School 14-0 on Oct. 3

The JV Football team defeated Williston Northampton School 14-0 on Oct. 3. Mike DeMio ’21 scored the team’s first touchdown and had a great day running the ball. Chris Hudson ’22 also had a great game on the ground, making the most of the solid blocking efforts by Ben Safalow ’22, Adam Paszczuk ’21, Eden Nenshati ’21, Kyle Frankel ’21, and Conor Caneday ’21. Jaden Lovelace ’20 made the play of the game on offense, catching a pass over the middle from DeMio and running it in 80 yards for the game’s final score. The entire Wyvern defense played hard and collectively earned the shutout. Great plays were made to thwart the Williston offense by DeMio, Nenshati, Pat Schwab ’22, Ben Woerlen ’22, and Sam Krugman ’22. The JV team’s next game is Oct. 9 vs. St. Luke’s School.
