The Kingswood Oxford Wyverns hosted the Worcester Academy Hilltoppers on a windy sunny fall afternoon on the Hoffman Turf field for Senior Day. The Wyverns were dominant from start to finish. Offensively the run game proved mighty, racking up 253 yards on the day, led by Justin Morle ’26 who scored 4 Tds on the day. The Offensive Line of Ernesto Ballesteros ’28, Nick Chomko ’26, Teddy Ristaino ’28, Donovan Lampkin 26, Lex Green ’26 were incredible paving the way and dominating their opponent. Scoring twice in the opening quarter up 13-0 the Wyverns hit a trick play for the 2 point conversion. Colton Bowes ’27 threw a pass to Jordan Cipriano ’26 who made a phenomenal catch. All the momentum our way the defense was strong, not allowing Worcester to eclipse 100 yards of offense on the day. Key 4th stops by Travis Parsons ’26, Jason Mathews ’26 and Noah Patrei ’27, thwarted all first half efforts for the Hilltoppers. The start of the 2nd half Isley Biggins ’28 made an incredible catch intercepting the ball returning all momentum back to the Wyverns. Followed by a great forced fumble by Mathews ’26 and recovery by Cameron Thomas ’26, the defense did not allow another first down until late in the 4th quarter. Overall it was a dominant performance by the Wyverns. Now 7-1 on the season they will move to play their final regular season game at Canterbury School on November 8th , 5:00 pm Kickoff time
